Tin-phosphor bronze bushings, due to their outstanding resistance to rust and moisture, are the preferred material for hydraulic equipment bushings and cooling tower sliders. The reasons are as follows:


Excellent Rust and Moisture Resistance: The phosphorus in tin-phosphor bronze forms a stable compound with copper, effectively resisting oxidation and corrosion in humid environments, making them less susceptible to rust and corrosion. They can withstand prolonged exposure to freshwater, seawater, or the humid water vapor of cooling towers, which is common in hydraulic equipment, significantly slowing the progression of corrosion and extending their service life.


Excellent Wear Resistance: Bushings for hydraulic equipment and cooling tower sliders are subject to constant friction. Tin-phosphor bronze materials like CAC902 offer excellent wear resistance and can withstand significant frictional wear.
